Our Year 2 students stepped back in time during their recent visit to the Schoolhouse Museum. Year 2 quickly learnt it was such a contrast to the modern school facilities students enjoy today. The presenters at the schoolhouse were in character – providing lots of laughter for the children as they showed what school was like back in the early 1900s. They even mentioned the cane in the 1877 classroom. One class even saw Mr Francis getting into trouble while he visited the 1877 classroom. The Year 2 students displayed excellent behaviour throughout the excursion. Well, done, Year 2!
