Principal's Message

Principal’s message
Welcome back to a new school year at North Ryde Public School. We hope that your family had an enjoyable, safe and relaxing holiday. I would like to especially welcome our new students including all Kindergarten students and their parents and carers. I wish you all a wonderful and positive experience at North Ryde Public School.
Last year was a wonderful year and I hope that 2025 allows us to continue to build stronger relationships with the community. To commence, please save the date for tomorrow (Wednesday 19th February) for our Parent Information Evening, which includes a Welcome BBQ organised by our wonderful Parents & Citizens' Association. I urge as many of you as possible to try and attend.
All the teaching staff worked tirelessly at the end of 2024 and during the holidays, planning the next steps in the development of our school plan and adding the final touches to their teaching and learning programs for Term One 2025. Thank you!
A big thank you is extended to Rob, our General Assistant, Chris, our gardener and our cleaning staff who have worked miracles in preparing our school grounds and classrooms, so they are ready for our eager kids. I look forward to continuing to build North Ryde’s spirit of caring enthusiasm!
Our School Swimming Carnival was held on Friday 7th February at Cabarita Pool for all children from Year 2 to Year 6. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day! The students as always, were well-behaved and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
I thank Miss Chiddy and Miss Longhitano for their outstanding organisation on the day.
