P&C Committee News
What a busy start to the year it has been!
Thank you to all who came to the P&C Welcome BBQ in Week 4. Special thanks go to Liz, our fundraising coordinator, for organising the event, and to all the parents & helpers who cooked, served, set up and packed up.
In Week 4 we also held our first P&C meeting of the year. We heard from Mr Francis and discussed various P&C activities that are going on in the school. We approved using funds raised to purchase new calculators for each of the classes in Stage 3. And look out in the school hall, as a new clock will be appearing on the wall shortly!
Our next P&C meeting will be in Week 8 and Mr Francis will be sharing the results from the Tell Them From Me survey. Please come along and join us!
Our weekly School Canteen was re-launched in Week 5. A very big thank you to Amelia for coordinating this for our students. Canteen will need regular Friday morning helpers - if you are interested, please email pccanteen@nrps.org.au.
The P&C are holding a donation drive for good quality second hand Board Games and Duplo in Week 6. These are to provide extra activities for our kids, particularly during wet weather. If you have any board games or duplo you would like to donate, please take them to the school office by Friday 7th March.
On the afternoon of Friday 7th March there will be a Second Hand Uniform Sale - come along and grab yourself a bargain!
Finally, thanks to everyone who responded to the P&C survey. We now have class parents, but are still compiling class lists. Please fill out the survey so you can be part of your class distribution list. It's a great way to network with other parents, ask questions and keep in the loop about what's going on at school.
If you would like to contact the P&C, please email pcpresident@nrps.org.au.
