Attendance

My previous article on attendance highlighted the possible results of school non-attendance. It can seriously impact on the educational outcomes of students.

Clearly, if your child is sick, please keep them home until they are well enough to return to school.

Periodically, I will be posting the average percentage of students at school so far this year to give you an idea of our attendance rate.

Our aim is to have every child attending school at least 90% of the time if not above that target. To achieve the target, students would need to be absent for less than 20 days each year.

I would appreciate your support in trying to achieve this target.
