Here is an update on the implementation of the new curriculum across our school. 

Currently, our K-2 teachers are in their third year of implementing the new English and mathematics curriculum, while our 3-6 teachers are in their second year. This ongoing transition has seen all of our teachers refining teaching programs and ensuring that explicit teaching practices are at the forefront of our classrooms. 

Looking ahead, over the next two years, we will be rolling out the next four curricula- Creative Arts, Science, PDHPE and HSIE. This year, North Ryde Public School will be looking at the Creative Arts and Human Society and Its Environment. Teachers started to the engage with these curriculums during the Staff Development days at the beginning of the year, comparing the old and new curriculums; and creating trial scope and sequences.
