Ryde East Music Festival 

Our talented Performance Band took part in the Ryde East Music Festival on Sunday 1st June, performing 2 interesting and fun pieces: Toccata Rhapsodic and Marzo Zingaro. The students played with great energy and musicality, earning positive feedback from the adjudicators. Their efforts were rewarded with a silver trophy - a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their hard work and dedication. Well done to all involved including our wonderful conductor Imelda Crimmins. 

Band Rehearsal Information 

Training Band: Tuesday mornings, 7.50am-9:00am 

Concert Band: Friday mornings, 7.50am-9:00am 

Performance Band: Wednesday Mornings, 7.50am-9:00am 

All rehearsals in school hall. Students should arrive at 7.50am to set up - each child must set up their own chair and stand. Playing starts at 8.00am. 

Hired instruments - Please pay hire fees for term 2 through SchoolBytes. 

We need you! Become our 2026 Band Coordinator. Do you enjoy being part of the school community, or just want to lend a hand? The P&C is looking for a new Band Coordinator for 2026 and we'd love for you to join the team. No musical experience is needed - just a willingness to support our wonderful band program and help things run smoothly behind the scenes. To make the transition easy, we'd love for someone to get involved this year as a Parent Liaison, so you can learn the ropes and receive a full handover from our current coordinator.
