Principal's Message

As we reach the end of Term 2 and the halfway point of the school year, it’s a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the many achievements and successes we have celebrated as a school community over the past semester. I am incredibly proud of the efforts, enthusiasm and growth shown by our students across so many areas of school life.
This term has seen outstanding student participation and achievement across a range of fields. From sporting competitions and academic challenges to public speaking events, leadership initiatives and performing arts showcases, our students have consistently demonstrated commitment, confidence and pride in their efforts. Their hard work is also evident in the Semester 1 student reports, which reflect strong learning progress and personal development.
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our parent community for your ongoing support throughout the term. Whether it’s assisting with fundraising initiatives, volunteering time, or rolling up your sleeves for our recent school clean-up efforts, your contributions have made a tangible and valued difference to our school environment.
I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible professionalism and dedication of our staff. Their commitment to student learning and wellbeing is evident not only in the quality teaching and care provided in classrooms each day, but also in the many additional responsibilities they take on. From coaching sports teams and directing performances to mentoring student leaders and coordinating extra-curricular programs, our staff consistently go above and beyond to create rich and rewarding experiences for our students. Their efforts are fundamental to the vibrant culture and success of our school.
Looking ahead, Term 3 promises to be another exciting and eventful term. We have a number of key events on the calendar that will provide opportunities for student engagement, celebration and connection with our school community. Highlights include our Athletics Carnival, Education Week Open Day, Book Week celebrations, and the continuation of the K–1 SportsPro program. Stage 3 students will also head off on their much-anticipated school camp, and our school choirs will showcase their talents in upcoming performances. We look forward to sharing these moments with students and families.
As we head into the school holidays, I encourage all students and families to take time to rest, recharge and enjoy a safe and happy break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in Term 3, ready for another term of learning, growth and opportunity.
Kind regards,
Erin Taggart
