Homework Dedication

One of our homework tasks was to make a poster showing the lifecycle of an animal. I chose to show the lifecycle of the blue bottle jellyfish as I was fascinated by it. I researched the lifecycle and then created a detailed diagram of what happens with pictures and descriptions. I really enjoyed this activity and hope to do more projects like this next term!

Mathematics - Constructing Towers
In mathematics, 5/6J demonstrated their understanding of different types of angles by constructing a tower that was at least 15cm tall and could hold a weight of 200 grams. They used 30 paddle pop sticks, putty and tape to build their towers. After constructing, we shared our findings on which types of angles are stronger and how angles are used in engineering. It was such a fun hands-on experience!
