President’s Update

Welcome to the back half of the year! Coming up in the next few weeks are a couple of chances for you to have your say and become involved as part of the NRPS community:

1. On Tues 5th August we have a P&C meeting in the staffroom and via Teams. Come hear what we're up to and share your ideas.
2. On Thurs 14^th August we have Jordan Lane MP coming to our school. He's our Ryde parliamentary representative in the NSW House of Representatives. This is a great chance to ask questions you may have about local transport, school infrastructure and high schools.

A big thanks to the Cheung family who installed and tested the last of the P&C's new soccer nets on the oval in the holidays. I have it on good authority that it is much more enjoyable to play soccer now without the ball disappearing!

Lastly - the P&C needs YOU! We are in need of regular weekly help packing orders in the Uniform Shop, and more importantly we are looking for new Uniform Shop Coordinators in 2026. It can be shared with a friend or another parent, and comes with full mentoring from the 3 P&C members who have done the role in the past. We also need a new Band Coordinator in 2026 to help coordinate our 3 school bands. Please let us know if you can help with Uniform Shop or Band as the second half of the year is the perfect time to learn or transition.
