President’s Update
Thanks to everyone who attended the recent P&C Meeting in Week 3. Mr Francis updated us on school's NAPLAN results for this year, and we discussed some new ways the P&C might be able to contribute to the school in 2026. If you'd like to become involved, it's never too late! We will soon be looking for new role holders for 2026 to help with all the tasks and responsibilities the P&C have - from providing regular services like band, canteen and the uniform shop, through to organising events like the recent trivia night, the student disco, and the upcoming Father's Day Stall.
This Thursday, 14th August, we have the opportunity to meet with Jordan Lane, our local Member of Parliament. All are welcome to attend this open discussion in the school library, from 6.30pm.
To stay in touch, we also have a North Ryde Public School P&C Facebook group you can join, or arrange to join your class WhatsApp group (if you haven't already) by emailing pcpr@nrps.org.au. These are valuable ways the P&C shares information and that parents & carers can engage with each other.
If you'd like to know more about the P&C, how you can get involved, or have ideas to share, please contact the P&C via pcpresident@nrps.org.au.
