Principal's Message

Francis_Robert.jpgDear Parents and Carers,

The last couple of weeks have been busy ones for both staff and students.

Our Year 1 and 2 students are now into their final week of swimming lessons, a vital skill for all students to be able to accomplish. they have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and developed their skills.

We held our Term Principal's Medallion Assembly last week and it was an honour to celebrate the achievements of many of our students who achieved their Gold Medallion. Congratulations to all of our recipients.

Our teaching staff have also been busy preparing for Term 4 with each stage involved in planning meetings. This allows us to continue to deliver high-quality teaching to your students.

I want to thank the P&C and give a special mention to Linda Holen, our P&C Environment Coordinator who managed to secure the services of 20+ personnel from Bunnings to beautify our school. Along with parent volunteers, they cleaned, sanded, painted, mulched and planted for a number of hours last Tuesday. Please check out our photo gallery in this newsletter.

Thank you all for the pride you show in our school. You have my heartfelt thanks for your amazing efforts. The students are already talking about it with their parents!

Finally, another term is nearly over and we look forward to the many special moments that will occur in Term 4. Please check out our Term 4 Parent Calendar within this newsletter for more information.

I thank you all for a wonderful term of teaching and learning. We hope our students take the opportunity to reset, relax and recharge so that they are ready for another busy term of learning. Have a wonderful holiday break!

As there is a School Development Day on Monday 13th October, I remind you that students return to school on Tuesday, 14th October.

Kind regards

Rob Francis
