Life Education Visit (Week 8)
Our school was buzzing with excitement as students from Kindergarten to Year 6 took part in the Life Education program! This interactive experience is always a highlight on the calendar, giving children the chance to learn about their bodies, health and wellbeing in fun, hands-on ways.
-
Infants students explored the importance of personal hygiene, choosing foods that contribute to good health, the benefits of physical activity and sleep, and how to stay safe online.
-
Primary students dove into big topics like food and nutrition, functions of the body systems, and making safe choices around medicines and legal drugs such as tobacco, alcohol and caffeine.
The children loved the sessions and came away with plenty of new knowledge and practical tips to help them live happy, healthy lives.
We look forward to welcoming Healthy Harold back to NRPS in the future!
