Bunnings Project Day - Thank You!

On Tuesday 16 September, our school was buzzing with activity as more than 25 volunteer staff from Bunnings stores across Sydney joined our P&C volunteers for a huge day of improvements.

The project focused on two key areas:

• HMAS Friendship Playground - the tired wooden beams were sanded, oiled and repainted in bright, fun colours, with new mulch added underneath to create a safer, refreshed play space.
• Block E Native Garden - a large new garden bed was planted out with shade-tolerant Australian natives, creating a green and welcoming space for students, families and visitors.

This work was made possible thanks to the incredible generosity of our partners:

• Bunnings - volunteer staff on the day and donations of plants, mulch, and general supplies.
• Cabot’s - timber oil for restoring the playground beams.
• Dulux - paint to bring the playground to life with colour.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort and resources. The results are already being enjoyed by our students and will benefit the school community for many years to come!
